Provisioning audio message are not played when using another language

Description

Scenario

Given I have a Wazo Platform installed in french
Given I have a phone in auto-provisioning mode
When I enter the provisioning code
Then I don’t hear anything

Expected: I hear “Merci”

The cause is due to provisioning not performed when language is French

Technical details:

  • In the Asterisk logs, I see:

  • Edit /etc/asterisk/pjsip.d/02-autoprov.conf and add the line language=fr_FR

Unfortunately this cannot be a multi-tenant option easily.

To make the workaround a real fix we would need to modify the wizard to include the language to the generated provisioning configuration file that is generated (05-autoprov-wizard.conf).

Being an option in wizard means that it would not allow the administrator to modify that value later since there’s no interface to do that.

More work would be required if we want to be able to modify that value later (creating a SIP endpoint during the wizard?).
